![]() I knew that place like the back of my hand and i knew allot of the costumers already because i used to be a contractor myself and had a chance to actually work with some of the costumers at big job sites. Looked over for department lead to which was not right. I ran 2 departments and covered another all the time and only making i think 10. The pay sucked but i still loved what i did. I loved working there though and i was the best forklift operator to walk through those doors. That place lost a lot of great employees over the years. And i also had pto for a couple days for appointments and she still had me on the schedule so it looked like i did a no call no show in the system. Fired me on some bogus attendance issues that should of been excused because of doctor appointments. Maybe because i was the go to guy for everyone and she wasn't going to have that. It went from great and making employee of the month to a new store manager taking over and not liking me for some reason. I loved it there as far as what i did and who i had the chance to meet. Home Depot was up $9.6 billion last year and $9.4 billion in just the first quarter this year alone. Problem is that the stores don’t care one bit that another human being has to unload the mess that they have created. The trailers are packed full of trash and returned merchandise from the stores. If you hire in to unload trailers don’t be fooled.
